Email marketing is a powerful way for businesses to reach their target customers and build meaningful relationships. With so many email marketing platforms available, it can be hard to choose the right one for your business. It’s important to choose the right one that fits your budget and offers the features you need. Here are the 5 best email marketing platforms for businesses on a budget.

1. MailChimp:

MailChimp is one of the most popular and affordable email marketing platforms. It’s easy to use, has a variety of features (such as a drag-and-drop editor and a wide range of templates) and is free for up to 2,000 contacts and 12,000 emails per month. It also offers a rather impressive automation tool. Plus, you get access to powerful analytics  and reporting tools so you can track the success of your campaigns. It has one of best integrations capabilities of any marketing service at this price point.

2. Constant Contact:

Constant Contact is another well-known and popular option for small businesses on a budget. It offers a free trial which allows you to send up to 10,000 emails per month. Their pricing plans range from $20 to $45 a month. Features include a built-in contact database, automation, and analytics. It also has a drag-and drop email builder and autoresponder feature that gives it a leg up over the other platforms.

3. AWeber:

This is the only platform I have never had personal experience working in, but from research and talking to colleagues AWeber is great option for businesses that want to send out automated emails but need to save on costs. It offers a range of features such as a drag and drop email designer, automated email campaigns, and detailed analytics. It has a variety of plans ranging from $19 to $149 a month. The one downside seems to be that its free plan only allows you to send up to 500 emails per month.

4. GetResponse:

GetResponse is another great option for businesses on a budget. It offers a 7-day free trial which allows you to send up to 1,000 emails per month, and a range of features such as drag and drop email builder, robust automation, solid A/B testing, and decent analytics. Pricing starts at $15 per month, but I recommend springing for the $ 30-a-month plan if you can. It comes with a quick-response help chat feature that allows you to correspond with a live representative. Their recently updated drag-and-drop creative builder while user-friendly does come with the downside that you cannot access the HTML for custom coding like you can with other builders.

5. SendinBlue:

SendinBlue is a great option for businesses that need more features than the free plans offered by other platforms. Besides the usual drag and drop email designer, and analytics, it’s easy to integrate with other platforms such as Salesforce. It also offers a free plan for businesses with fewer than 300 subscribers and allows you to send up to 9,000 emails per month. Its pricing starts at just $25 a month.

These are just a few of the best email marketing platforms for businesses on a budget. The reality is there are hundreds of options out there. Choosing the right email marketing platform for your business can be a challenge, but with the right research, you can find the best one for you. Each one offers a range of features and pricing plans that are suitable for businesses of all sizes. It’s important to compare the features and pricing plans of each platform to find the one that best fits your business needs and budget. With the right platform, you can easily reach potential customers and drive sales without breaking the bank. It’s also important to note that, beyond picking a decent platform you need to know email marketing best practices. Even the most expensive platforms can’t make up for top-notch email copy, and an understanding of basic inbound marketing principles.
